BELL & GOSSETT PUMPS

Founded in 1916, Bell & Gossett has been a dependable force in the hydronic heating industry for more than 75 years. Over the years, they've continued to focus on providing the highest quality products, and the best technology available. In fact, they pioneered many hydronic heating technologies that today are taken for granted--for instance, the entire concept of the three-piece booster pump.

B&G's plant incorporates the most advanced manufacturing and research capabilities in the industry. Count on them to apply that technology and make their products the most reliable--and to make your job easier.

ISO 9001 Certified

ITT Bell & Gossett's Morton Grove manufacturing facility has received ISO 9001 certification, awarded to only a select group of companies worldwide that meet the quality assurance standards of the International Organization of Standards (ISO). ISO certification tells you that a company has passed a stringent independent audit for a universally uniform level of "proof of performance." Bell & Gossett's on-going company goal is to meet or surpass customer specification by making all products right "the first time, every time."

Research Keeps Them Number One in Reliability

From single circulator systems to complex, multi-zone systems involving several circulators, ITT Bell & Gossett is in the business of helping solve your HVAC problems. At their dedicated research facility, a continuous program of product design and development helps them identity product design improvements to assure their products provide maximum life and require minimum maintenance.

BERKELEY

Since 1937, when Berkeley pumps were first used to irrigate the fertile fields of the San Joaquin Valley of Central California, up-through today’s most challenging water movements projects, the name Berkeley has stood for uncompromised quality and proven reliability. Berkeley pumps are the standard by which other pumps are measured. The fact is, Berkeley orange is the growing color of choice for a whole world of applications beyond irrigation including HVAC, municipal-water, industrial, commercial and construction. For versatility and dependability, Berkeley pumps are favorites in many OEM applications including car washes, water trucks, fire equipment, ice-making equipment and more.

Berkeley never stops looking for ways to improve product quality and reliability. Everything we do shows up in the way Berkeley pump users look at us with confidence. It’s a confidence that goes from ordering to delivery to installation on through the years of trouble-free performance. It’s a confidence that allows our customers to cure common pump worries and troubles with one simple phrase: relax, it’s a Berkeley.

BURKS

Burks Pumps offers extraordinarily versatile lines of end suction standard and self-priming centrifugal pumps, in-line centrifugal pumps and regenerative turbine pumps. All are offered in either close-coupled or frame-mounted designs. Materials availability includes all bronze, all iron, bronze fitted cast iron and 316 SS. Pump application is equally versatile from process plant to general plant service. Meeting OEM needs with special purpose-built pumps is a Burks' strength.

C H & E

CH&E will not build wimpy pumps; they leave that to the importers and the "throw-away" pump sellers. Their pumps are designed with the intention of working hard and long and well.  They have thick-walled cast bodies with more material to withstand more stress.  Centrifugal and trash pumps have replaceable volutes so you can replace the volute instead of the whole pump case. The entire line is designed to take on rugged construction projects, sewage transfer and other brutal applications in stride.  And on the rare occasion when you need repairs, parts are readily available and ease of maintenance is an integral part of our designs.

CRANE

Few manufacturers can match the variety of product designs and configurations offered by CP&S.  Fewer, still, can match it's breadth of pumping applications.  Ubiquitous CP&S products are hard at work providing quality, reliability, and value.

Crane Pumps is the parent company of Deming, Barnes, Crown, Prosser, Burks, and Weinman

ROPER

The early history of the Roper Company is a triumph of true American grit over adversity.

George D. Roper, challenged from childhood by the loss of his left arm in a train accident, founded the Roper business legacy in 1857 when he bought a half interest in the Van Wie Gas Stove Company in Springfield, Illinois. He became sole owner in 1894 and moved the company to Rockford. Ten days later, it was totally destroyed by fire. Salvaged and rebuilt as the Eclipse Gas Stove Company, the business grew steadily, expanding to include the American Foundry Company in 1901 and the Trahern Pump Company in 1906. Trahern's quality hand operated water well pumps had been helping to build the American dream since 1857.

In 1925, Mabon P Roper inherited the company from his father and built it into the first and leading manufacturer of pumps for the booming petroleum industry. The company survived the Depression and during WW II contributed its expertise to the defense of the country by developing specialized diesel engine lubricating pumps for war plants and naval vessels.

The company also manufactured projectiles and ammunition boxes. In 1942, Mabon P. Roper died, ending the Roper family line. He was succeeded by Stanley Hobson, who continued the Roper tradition of quality and dependability.
